Athletics Australia's Paralympic Preparation Program has nominated eleven athletes to compete at the INAS Global Games in Liguria (ITA) from September 4. Athletes Nicholas Hum, Drew Semmens and Tim Page will be representing the Victorian contingent of the National squad. 

2011 Victorian Tennis Championships for People with an Intellectual Disability

19-20th March at Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club

Tennis Victoria and VICSRAPID work in partnership each year to organise this event and 2011 was yet another success. The event is the peak tournament in the Victorian tennis calendar for competitive players with an intellectual disability. It attracts both Victorian and interstate players, with nine players making the trip this year from Queensland and New South Wales.

This year’s event was once again held at the beautiful Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on the 19^th and 20^th of March.  We had beautiful sunshine for both days, which set the scene for some great tennis.
